From Augut 20th to November 9th the gutted building of the former 'Palast der Republik' turned into a multi-functional hall, a stadium for art and culture and limited in time urban laboratory, dealing with new shapes of publicity, communication, interaction.
The project VOLKSPALAST was arranged by the 'Sophiensaele' and HAU theatre in cooperation with Shrinking Cities and Mediapool, initialized by the society ZWISCHEN PALAST NUTZUNG e.V..
